Jack Lee White

November 24, 1922 - April 12, 2008

Jack Lee White, 85, of East Howry Avenue, died April 12, 2008, at Oaktree Healthcare Center in South Daytona. A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Lankford Funeral Home, 220 E. New York Ave. in DeLand.


Mr. White retired as a salesman for Four Roses Distillers. Born in Weirton, WV, he moved to this area three years ago from Bonita Springs. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.


Mr. White is survived by his wife, Mary; four sons, David of Zanesville, Ohio, Jack Jr. of Lake Mary, Cary of McConnelsville, Ohio, and Gary of St. George, Utah; one daughter, Barbara Ann Speakman of Canal Winchester, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
