William "Dan" Goodwin, Jr.

Graveside service for William "Dan" Goodwin, Jr., 88, DeLand, who died May 19, 2008, at Florida Hospital DeLand, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at Hollywood Cemetery, Orange City. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army.
Mr. Goodwin was born in Knoxville, TN and moved to this area in 1982 from Fairport, NY. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a film coater for Eastman Kodak Company with 31 years service in film manufacturing. He was a member of the West Volusia Historical Society, V.F.W., American Legion and the Polish American Club.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Ciara Dorothy Goodwin, DeLand; two sons, Terry Goodwin, New York and Wayne Goodwin, Illinois; three daughters, Diane Coene and Beverly Brownell, Orlando, and Shirley Dean, Orange City; sister, Jane Creed, Illinois; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
