Chester Vincent Foerch

Memorial service for Chester Vincent Foerch, 93, Orange City, who died May 26, 2008, at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, Orange City, will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 13, at First Baptist Church of Orange City, 975 E. Graves Avenue, Orange City, with Dr. James E. Hilton officiating.
Mr. Foerch was born in Thomaston, CT and moved to this area in 1983 from El Paso, Texas. He was a mechanical engineer for International Infrared. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Orange City and Landmark Lodge F&AM. A lifelong musician, he played the tenor saxophone, cello and the organ, playing the sax in several big bands.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cecelia Foerch. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Carolyn Foerch; son, David Foerch of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Susan Crabtree of Lakewood, CO, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
