Ross Lanier Rogers

August 22, 1925 - May 29, 2008

Ross Lanier Rogers, 82, Orange City, died May 29, 2008, in Orange City. Mr. Rogers was born in Lindale, GA and moved from there to this area in 1957. He was a retired construction superintendent for Tomoka Consolidated. He was a Navy World War II veteran. Mr. Rogers was a member of the Carpenter's Union and enjoyed woodworking and furniture making.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Wilma Rogers; daughters, Janice Rogers, Tallahassee, FL, Deborah Morrow, Orange City and Karen Ryals, DeLand; eight grand-children and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbrair Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.  We invite you to sign the Guest Book maintained by the Daytona Beach News Journal.
