Ann West Hall

April 21, 1956 - June 2, 2008

Memorial service for Ann West Hall, 52, who left this earth Monday, June 2, 2008, will be 5 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Donald Lyon of St. Barnabas and Father William Sharpe of Chapel of Divine Mercy officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Lankford Funeral Home, 220 E. New York Ave., DeLand.

Ann was born April 21, 1956, the only child of Dr. Hugh West, deceased, and Elizabeth Rhett West, DeLand. She was a 1974 graduate of DeLand High School and received her degree in fine arts from Stetson University in 2003. As an artist, she was actively involved in the Cultural Arts Center, especially the Museum of Florida Art.

In addition to her mother, her children, in whom she took great pleasure, survive her. She will be rememberd by her sons, Steven (Ali) Costa, DeLand, West Costa, Boulder, Colo., Rhett Costa, Micanopy; and daughter, Hannah Hall, DeLand; grandchildren, Sydney and Jack Costa; and other family and friends.
