Alice C. Spinelli

April 17, 1919 - July 7, 2008

Alice C. Spinelli, "Mema", 89, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, July 7, 2008. Alice was born on April 17, 1919 in Saratoga Springs, NY where she lived for 74 years. She spent the rest of her life in DeBary, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John and is survived by her children, Rosemary Spinelli of DeBary, FL, Paul (Eileen) Spinelli of Queensbury, NY and John (Sophie) Spinelli of Newburg, IN; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her family as well as the many other people she touched throughout her life. Alice never knew a stranger and opened her heart and her home to all those who needed a hot meal, a helping hand or a kind word. The world is a smaller place without her.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 14 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hospice Care Center Chapel in Orange City with Chaplain Steve Binkley officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
