Funeral Service for Gordon George Townsend, Jr., 49, Eustis, who died July 9, 2008 at his residence will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 14 at Lankford Funeral Home, 220 E. New York Ave., DeLand, FL, with Pastor William Yesse officiating. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery in DeLand. Calling hours were held on Sunday, July 13 at the funeral home.

Mr. Townsend was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a truck driver.

Survivors include his two daughters, Brittany Townsend of Ohio and Amanda Townsend of DeLand, FL; one sister, Audrey Trainor of DeLand, FL, three nephews and two nieces.
