Cremation containers are available in a wide variety of styles and prices and can be categorized in four different groups: traditional wood caskets, wood cremation caskets, hardboard caskets and fiberboard caskets.
Consideration must be given to the type of service or memorial that will take place. If a traditional funeral is planned with the body present, many families prefer a wood cremation casket. If a memorial service is planned, either before or after the cremation takes place, an alternative container is often chosen.
Choosing cremation does not necessarily mean that you choose not to have a traditional funeral. Many families decide that, although their loved one may have chosen to be cremated, they would still like to memorialize them with a viewing or a memorial service, or both.
We have a large selection of cremation caskets available. Generally, cremation caskets are less expensive.
