John Bernard Rothert III

September 5, 1943 - August 3, 2007

John Bernard Rothert III, 63, of Hanley Street, who retired as a computer technician for Sprint after 37 years, died Friday at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa. Mr. Rothert, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, was born in Cincinnati and moved here in 1985 from Indiana. He was a member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Lake Monroe Amateur Radio Society, AMSAT (a radio amateur satellite corporation), a former volunteer firefighter and a certified skywarn spotter for the National Weather Service.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Judith; three sons, David, Deltona, Michael, Ladson, SC and John, Anderson, IN; a daughter, Marcia Allison, Tarpon Springs; a brother, Thomas, Cincinnati and 11 grandchildren.
