Virginia L. Trentham
March 3, 1927 - September 27, 2007
Funeral service for Virginia L. Trentham, 80, Orange City, who
died September 27, 2007 at her home, will be 2 p.m. Saturday,
September 29, at the Lankford Funeral Home, DeLand. Burial will
be at Hollywood Cemetery, Orange City. Calling hours are from
6 p.m. until 8 p.m. tonight (Friday, September 28) at the funeral
home.
Mrs. Trentham was born in Delauarelo, Indiana and moved to this
area in 1959 from Muncie, Indiana. She worked for the West Volusia
Memorial Hospital in DeLand where she retired in 1994. She was
a member of the First Baptist Church of Orange City, a volunteer
with the Orange City Red Cross, member of the Orange City Cirrhosis
Club and served as a councilwoman for the City of Orange City.
Survivors include her son, Charles "Tuck" (Kristi) Trentham,
DeLand; daughter, Melissa (Monty) Trickey, DeLand; grandchildren,
Tori, Casey, Kendra and Jessica; her special niece, Suzanne Trentham
and several nieces and nephews.
