Linda Helen Burke

Funeral service for Linda Helen Burke, 69, DeLeon Springs, who died November 22, 2007, at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial, Orange City, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, DeLand. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery.

Mrs. Burke was born in Troy, NY and moved to this area in 1973 from Mechanicsville, NY. Beloved wife and devoted mother, she was an animal lover and a member of Tuesdays Knitters at DeLand Library and Artist of Month at Studio 308.

Survivors include her son, Daniel Scott Burke, Baker, FL; three daughters, Sandra Ann Bishop, Great Falls, VA, Jean Leigh Miller, DeLand, Joann Lynne Pifer, DeLand; three sisters, Gail Huffstutler, Liberty Hill, Texas, Sandra Chambers, Lake George, NY, Bonnie Hohman, Wynantskill, NY. grandchildren, Melanie Bush, Ft. Wainwright, Alaska, Matthew Burke, currently in Iraq, and Joshua Miller, Kaitlyn Miller, Erika Pifer, and Zachary Pifer, all of DeLand and great-grandchild, Madison Mae Bush, Ft. Wainwright, Alaska.
