Gordon Joseph Knott

November 20, 1932 - November 23, 2007

Gordon Joseph Knott, 75, Orange City, died November 23, 2007 at his home. Family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday, November 26, at 1205 North Leavitt Avenue, Orange City.

Mr. Knott was born in Utica, NY and moved to this area in 1987 from Howell, Mich. He was the owner/operator of a successful installation business for 45 years and was a member of the Carpenters Union. He was a dedicated and hard-working man of principal and integrity. He will always be remembered for his ever present quick wit.

Survivors include his loving special friend, Julia Breland, Lake Helen; one son, Michael (Linda) Knott, DeLand; four daughters, Cheryl Willacker, Seville, FL, Patricia Turner, Orange City, Vickie (Doug) Britz, Brighton, Mich., Constance Knott (John) Toigo, Pinckney, Mich.; one brother, Chuck Knott, DeLand; one sister, Ann Ballard, Oxford, Mich. and grandchildren, Blair Willacker, Dawn Vermette, Tim McGarvey, Gabriel Knott, Carrie Ponce DeLeon, Tina Sande, Phillip Knott, Thomas Knott, Zachary Turner, Adam Turner, Joel Britz, Jordan Britz, Lisa Toigo, John Toigo.
