Mathew Stage

Mathew joined the Lankford family in 2003, as a Family Service Counselor. In this capacity, Mathew meets with individuals to discuss and record PreNeed arrangements. He also assists them in choosing a payment option that fits their specific needs, utilizing a program that protects our families as well as being transferable.

PreNeed Planning allows families to make decisions in advance, rather than at the time of need, while under a great deal of stress. If you would be interested in learning more about PreNeed Planning, please feel free to contact Mathew. He will be happy to meet with you, either individually or as a group. Many of you may have already met him at various seminars conducted in the DeLand area.

Mathew has two children, Elizabeth and Nicolas. He and his wife, Jacqueline, recently purchased a new home in DeLand.

Kim Webb

One of the most important positions at Lankford Funeral Home is held by our secretary, Kim Webb. Kim assists the funeral directors and is instrumental in seeing that the details involved with each service are carried out.

Many times, after an initial visit with one of our funeral directors, Kim is the person you will speak with, both during the planning stages and after your service is concluded. She is happy to assist family members with placement of obituaries, obtaining death certificates and any follow up that is needed.

Kim was born in Miami, FL and has been a resident of DeLand since 1977. She is a 1990 graduate of DeLand High School. Kim joined the Lankford Funeral Home staff in 1996. Kim, her daughter Morgan and husband, Perry, live in Deltona.

Katherine List

If you visit our funeral home between 9:00 and 1:00 during the week, you will be greeted by Katie. Katie has been a part of the Lankford family for years and prior to its closing, worked at our Orange City location.

With a warm greeting and a smile on her face, Katie is there to assist you during your visit to Lankford Funeral Home. Most days she will even provide you with a Otis Spunkmeyer cookie or two!

Katie lives in Orange City and is involved with her church and many community organizations.

Lankford Funeral Home is fortunate to have several part time staff members who assist with our service to you. Many have been with us for years, and we could not possibly provide the level of care and service we do, without them.
