Ann Drobach passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026, peacefully in her Laurel, MD home, just shy of her 79th birthday. She moved to Laurel, to be closer to and under the care of her daughter, Sheila. For the last three years she was able to enjoy the seasons, cherry blossoms, and used her good china for her daily meals.
She is preceded in death by husband Peter, son Kevin, brothers John and Mark.
Survived by daughter Sheila and son-in-law Dave Bisson; son Dave and daughter-in-law E.B. Drobach; grandchildren Matt Bisson, Rachel Bisson, Denali Drobach, Otie Drobach And siblings Brian McNulty, Paul McNulty.
Born in 1947 in Lynn, Massachusetts was the only daughter among 4 brothers. Married Peter Drobach in 1970. Together, they moved their new family to DeLand, FL where they raised their family. She was active in St Peter's Church for 50 years.
Ann was a Registered Dietitian, responsible for hemodialysis unit, and a Certified Diabetes Educator. She worked at Fish Memorial Hospital and West Volusia Memorial Hospital.
She enjoyed baking and sewing, made the majority of her clothes and her daughters'. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. "Nana" supplied grandchildren with Nana boxes full of their favorite cookies and taught apple pie baking to them.
She belonged to several organizations based in St Peter's church. Bible study classes, lector, CYM facilitator. After Peter's passing she became involved in bereavement ministry, as a facilitator for Joyful Again widow's retreat.
She was known to be very caring, a great friend, always there when you needed her.
