Arthur Depatie, Jr.

Arthur passed away, leaving behind a life marked by hard work, independence, and a wide range of experiences.

He was a dedicated employee of Delta Airlines, where he spent many years serving in multiple roles. Over the course of his career, Arthur worked on the ground crew, at the ticket counter, and fueling aircraft - earning a reputation as someone who could do just about anything. He took pride in being dependable and adaptable, a true jack of all trades.

In his younger years, Arthur enjoyed an active lifestyle and had a love for the water. He spent time scuba diving, water skiiing, snorkeling, and swimming, embracing the outdoors and adventure. 

After retiring, he pursued one of his greatest passions: golf. Arthur both played and worked at several golf courses, staying connected to the game and the community surrounding it.

He also enjoyed woodworking, making bird houses, and music and movies in his downtime, often taking time to relax and unwind with his favorites. 

He was very close to his family and celebrated many holiday gatherings over the years. Those moments brought connection and will be remembered by those who shared them with him.

Arthur is survived by his children, Vanessa, Arthur, and Trinity, and his sister, Lisa. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his two brothers.

He will be remembered for his strong work etic, his independence, and the life he lived in his own way.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

There will be a Funeral Mass in his memory on Friday, March 8, 2026, at 1pm, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Deland, Florida.
