Brenda Kay Anderson

September 28, 1966 — May 16, 2025

Brenda Kay Anderson, beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, in Palm Coast, Florida. She was 58 years old.

Born in Madrid, Spain, on September 28, 1966, Brenda lived a rich and vibrant life that took her across continents—from Spain to Germany, and eventually throughout the United States. She ultimately made her home in Gulf Breeze, Florida, where she built a life grounded in love, loyalty, and laughter.

Brenda is survived by her loving mother, Hedwig Bonn Anderson of Gulf Breeze, FL, her older brother, Marvin Anderson of Pensacola, FL; her only daughter, Ravin Anderson of DeLand, FL; and her nephew, Jared Eisinger of Pensacola, FL. Her presence in their lives was a gift beyond measure.

Since 1991, Brenda worked at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, where she served as a dedicated Billing Supervisor. She took great pride in her work and her commitment to her colleagues and coworkers alike left a lasting mark on everyone she met.

A lifelong bookworm, Brenda could always be found with her nose in a novel, exploring new worlds through pages. She had a passion for travel and delighted in discovering new countries, cultures, and—especially—cuisines. A self-proclaimed foodie, she never turned down the chance to try something new and delicious.

Brenda had a special heart for animals, particularly older cats in need of love and a home. Over the years, she adopted and cared for many senior cats, ensuring they felt safe, cherished, and adored.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in Gulf Breeze, Florida, with details to be announced at a later date.

In honor of Brenda’s memory and her courageous 13-year battle with cancer, the family asks that donations be made to The Leiomyosarcoma Support & Direct Research Foundation at www.lmsdr.org/donate

Brenda’s light, love, and laughter will forever be remembered by those lucky enough to know her.
