Charles C. Reed, age 87, of DeLand, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025. Born on April 4, 1938, in Watertown, New York, Charles was the beloved son of the late Clarence Reed and Etta Holloway.
A devoted family man, Charles dedicated his life to caring for those he loved. He faithfully traveled to upstate New York every summer to assist his stepmother, lovingly known as Grandma Reed, with whatever she needed.

Professionally, Charles was a dedicated employee at General Electric, where he worked for 37 years. In his later years, he pursued his passion as an antique dealer, specializing in war memorabilia, particularly from the Civil War era. A gifted gunsmith by hobby, Charles combined craftsmanship with a deep respect for history.
Above all, Charles was a loving father and proud grandfather. He leaves behind his children, Terry Reed and Lori Le Veille (Don), and his cherished granddaughter, Courtney Le Veille, who brought immense joy to his life.
