Donald L. “Buckey” Orr passed away on July 20, 2023 in DeLand, FL.

Buckey was born in Meadville, PA and grew up in rural Saegertown. After earning his Eagle Scout badge and graduating high school he joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed at Guantanamo Bay. After serving, he was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for more than 25 years before retiring to Florida.

Buckey is survived by his brother Jim, sister Roberta, wife Diane, his son, stepson, two stepdaughters, nieces, nephews, and many grand and great grandchildren. He loved animals, especially dogs, a good cup of coffee, and was charitable to causes close to his heart.

Donald will be interned with full military honors at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754) on Monday July 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Please report to Lane A.
