Eleanor Laslie Griffin

Eleanor Laslie Griffin, affectionately known as Ellie, was born on December 1, 1938. She departed from this world on July 13, 2025, in DeLand, Florida, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. 

It is with profound sadness that we announce her passing. Ellie spent her final moments surrounded by her family, who provided her comfort and support as she transitioned into eternal rest.

Ellie will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the joy she brought into the lives of those who knew her. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have shared time with her. 

As her family prepares a more comprehensive tribute to honor her life, we invite those who were touched by Ellie to keep her memory alive in their hearts. For now, there are no services scheduled, allowing family and friends to reflect on the beautiful moments shared with her.

She will be dearly missed but forever held in the hearts of her loved ones.
