Forest Elizabeth Chaplin Ramirez

Our precious daughter Forest Elizabeth was born at 12:11pm on April 30th, 2026 in Glendale, CA, weighing 3 pounds and 4 ounces. She took her first breath in heaven.

Services will be held at Lankford on Saturday, June 13th with a visitation beginning at 10am and service to follow at 11am. She will be buried in a private ceremony at Oakdale Cemetery in DeLand, Florida.

Forest was a deeply loved and longed-for daughter, granddaughter, and niece. In the 29 weeks and 4 days that she lived on earth, she brought us immeasurable joy and changed our lives forever. While we wish that her days with us were not so very short, we have a great hope and assurance that she is at this very moment safe in the presence of her savior, Jesus Christ. The time we got to spend with her is a gift that we will treasure every day until one day, soon, when we see her again.

Remembering her always are her parents, Jeff and Lizzie Ramirez; her grandparents, Jose & Lilia Ramirez and Robb & Janice Chaplin; her uncle Brandon Ramirez, aunt Val Ramirez & aunt Rachel Chaplin.

Amongst the innumerable ways that Forest’s short life has impacted ours is a reminder that life, whether its length be 29 weeks or 80 years, is a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
