Jason Stone, age 41, of Deland, Florida, passed away on June 25, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Shanna Stone, son Zachary Stone, and his nephews; Dylan and Tyson Stone – whom he thought of as his sons. His mother’s Janet Purse and Terri Swoape; brother Bryan Swoape; two sisters Evelyn Swoape and Brittny Felps; as well as countless other family and friends. Jason was predeceased by his son Jason Lee Jr.; father Gary Stone, and his two brothers Kenny and Michael Stone, and Grandparents.

Jason grew up in Southeast Texas prior to moving back to Central Florida as a teenager. During his high school years, he was an avid football player. In 2004 Jason received his license as a General Contractor and opened his successful business, JL Stone Construction. When not in the office or on job sites, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had a love of fishing and a passion for restoring collectible cars.

Jason had a heart of gold and would do anything he could for his family, friends, and employees who he considered to be a part of his family. He will be missed deeply and remembered by many. Services for Jason will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Jason’s honor to the college fund for Zachary in care of Shanna Stone.
