John Loy Flowers passed away surrounded by his family on February 15, 2026, in DeLand, Florida. He was born on January 6, 1963 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Wallace and Helen Flowers. He lived in Pierson, Florida and was the owner/operator of Flowers Fernery also in Pierson, Florida.
The family is having a private Memorial Service at Lankford Funeral Home. There will be an open Celebration of Life Reception at the Pierson Community Center on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 starting at 1:00 PM. The address is 124 W. Washington Ave, Pierson, FL 32180.
