Joni Lynn Jones, a devoted mother and friend, dedicated United States Postal Service employee, and a woman known for her feistiness and quick wit, passed away on January 21, 2024, at the AdventHealth Fish Memorial Hospice Center in Orange City, Florida. She was 69 years old.

Born in Ticonderoga, New York, Joni moved to Deland, Florida, in 1972, where she started her career and family.

Joni was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Richard Harris, her sister, Leslie Harris, and her grandson, Nicholas Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Samantha Jones, son, Jason Jones, three brothers, Kevin Harris, Ron Harris, and Dale Harris, her sister, Starla Davis, and her 9 nieces and nephews. Joni's unwavering love for her children and siblings defined her life, and her memory will be cherished by all who were close to her.

Joni will be deeply missed and forever remembered. May she rest in eternal peace.
