Kathryn Pruitt “Kay” Burgess succumbed to long term illness on June 16th 2023, she was 76.

Born in Washington D.C. on December 27, 1946, she was a wife, mother and grandmother.

She attended the University of Mary Washington and enjoyed sewing, cooking and reading.

Survived by her husband Lewis E. Burgess Sr., sons Lewis E. Burgess Jr., Gregory Burgess and granddaughter USAF Captain Courtney J. Burgess.
