Linda Margaret Cross

Linda Margaret Cross’ extraordinary creative drive was channeled through all aspects of her life. An accomplished designer, gifted oil painter, antique dealer and entrepreneur, Linda loved to explore novel ideas and had a curious spirit which saw the world as a place filled with endless possibilities. We celebrate the life of Linda Cross who passed away August 10, 2026 in her home of Deland, Florida. Born in Bismark, North Dakota, Linda enjoyed traveling and saw much of the world here and abroad. These experiences helped shape her openness to new ideas.

Linda was preceded in her death by her parents, Hendrik and Anna Mae (Brunson) Mugaas; sister, Rhoda Morgan; and sister, Marcia Hoel.

Linda is survived by her son, Ian Cross and daughter in law, Edie Peschke; sister, Laura Matevia and brother in law, Dan; brother, Nordrik and sister in law, Suk Yi Lee; brother, Mark Mugaas and sister in law, Barbara; and ex-husband and friend, Timothy Cross.
