Melissa Mae Fuller, née Mote, 58, of DeLand, Florida, passed away September 9, 2026. She was born October 7, 1967, and spent most of her life in Central Florida.

Melissa was passionate, caring, creative, and deeply devoted to her family and faith.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Fuller; children Christopher Fuller (Kali), Elissa (Alex), and Jessica (Thomas); granddaughter Rachel; and sisters Floss (Bryant), Carol (Jim), and Sandi.

Melissa taught those she loved to love others, never stop learning, cherish one another’s differences, and let go of anger when possible. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of the God she loved and served.

Her Celebration of Life service is October 3 at 4pm at Trinity United Methodist in Deland. In lieu of flowers please make donations to any of the following charities: Residing Hope, Endometrial Cancer Research Foundation, or P.E.O. Foundation.
