Patricia Bell Anderson

September 11, 1952 — January 27, 2026

Patricia Bell Anderson, 73, passed away on January 27, 2026, in Kissimmee, Florida. Pat was born on September 11, 1952, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to parents Burt and Donna Bell. She was the youngest of two children, with her older Brother, Greg. Pat's father served as a Navy radio operator and, after the war, became an RCA sales representative, moving the family to Birmingham, AL, when Pat was four years old. Pat had a wonderful childhood there, playing kickball, catching fireflies, and adoring her dog, Pepper. When Pat was 10, her father decided to leave RCA and pursue his own pizza business. The family then moved to Winter Park, Florida, where Burt began selling homemade frozen pizzas called Pat's Pizza at local Publix stores, named after his daughter. Pat later attended Winter Park High School and was a ribbon girl for her Brother's track team. During her teen years, she enjoyed sketching and was a Beatles fan, and at 16, she met the love of her Life, Larry Anderson. They married in 1971 and were blessed with four children, enjoying 50 years of marriage residing in DeLand, FL, until Larry predeceased her in 2021.

In addition to raising four children, Pat's career in real estate was a significant source of her accomplishments. Her experience spanned over 30 years in Central Florida, working both independently and for notable builders such as Masterpiece Homes and Mercedes Homes. Recognition was abundant: she received the Million Dollar Sales Circle award from the Volusia Home Builders Association Sales & Marketing Council, was named Sales Person of the Month at Mercedes, and was featured in local papers for surpassing $700,000 in monthly sales. Retirement from real estate did not slow her ambitions; Pat earned her CNA license from Daytona College, fulfilling her long-held dream of working in the medical field.

Pat enjoyed gardening and had a natural green thumb. She always kept the news on the TV, so she'd stay informed about world events and the stock market. Watching football became a regular enjoyment. She enjoyed playing pool, singing karaoke, and often played rummy or iPod games. Any activity involving numbers—like dice or Monopoly—brought her special joy.

Pat is survived by her children: Daniel Anderson, Valerie Haist, Brian Anderson, and Ashley Ford. Her legacy continues with her grandchildren—Gavin Anderson, Daniel Haist, Olivia Haist, Kylee Anderson, Austin Anderson, Brycen Anderson, and Zackary Ford—and her great-grandson, Aaron Hentges III. Her Brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Mary Jean Bell, survive her.

Verse from one of Pat's favorite songs: Life's a dance, you learn as you go, Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow, Don't worry 'bout what you don't know, Life's a dance, you learn as you go.

There will be a private family graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat's memory may be made to Halifax Health Volunteers through the Halifax Health Foundation. Donations in her honor may also be made to St Peter the Fisherman Episcopal Church in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
