Priscilla May Ballasy, lovingly known by many as “Barny,” passed away on April 10, 2026, in DeLand, Florida. She was born on November 5, 1948, in Springfield, Massachusetts, and grew up in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, where she attended Longmeadow High School.

Priscilla built a life centered on service, leadership, and compassion. Over the past 20 years, she served as a District Area Manager for Avon and as President of the VIA Orange City Women’s Club. She was also an active volunteer with Help Animals, reflecting her deep love and care for all creatures.

Priscilla especially adored cats, though she loved all animals. She found joy in gardening, watching the birds in her backyard, and relaxing with a good glass of wine. She was also a fan of the Star Wars movies, which brought her much enjoyment over the years.

She leaves behind her two daughters, Cheryl Grabauskas and Leslie Stilphen; her younger brother, Clifton Barnes; her two grandsons, Erik Wilcox and Bryce Wilcox; and her great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Orange City Women’s Club at gfwcorangecity.org.
