Randall Eugene Bridgeman, 67, of DeLand, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, at AdventHealth DeLand.
Randall was born on May 27, 1958, at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. He was a dedicated professional who earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University. Throughout his career, Randall was known for his integrity, diligence, and commitment to public service. For the past nine years, he served as the Chief Internal Auditor for the City of Ocala, where he was highly respected by colleagues and community members alike.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Randall faithfully followed his favorite teams, including the New York Giants, Boston Red Sox, Florida State Seminoles, and UConn Huskies. Whether watching from home or attending games in person, sports brought him great joy throughout his life. He also had a deep appreciation for music, especially classic rock and country. In recent years, he developed a special interest in Christian music. Randall enjoyed attending plays, musicals, and concerts, and cherished the experiences and memories they created.
Above all else, Randall was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline McNamara; and his beloved daughters, Kelsey Bridgeman, Samantha Bridgeman, and Michaela Bridgeman, of whom he was immensely proud. His love for his family was evident in all that he did, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Randall is also survived by his father, Robert Bridegman of Connecticut, his brother, Bobby Bridgeman and wife Michelle of Florida, along with their sons Robbie and wife Shannon and their two children, Bryce Bridgeman, Alex Bridgeman, and Logan Bridgeman and wife Rebekah. He is further survived by his sister, Rhonda Stebner and husband Eric of Connecticut, and their son Kyle Stebner.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Bridgeman.
Randall will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, his unwavering dedication to his family, and his genuine enjoyment of life's simple pleasures. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date and time to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Randall's memory.
