Robert Phillip “Bobby” Uccello, age 73, of DeLand, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026. Bobby was born on April 30, 1952, in Peabody, Massachusetts, and later made his home in DeLand.

Bobby was a man known for his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. In his younger years, he worked on fishing boats. Over the years he owned and operated B&S Well Drilling and J&J’s Lounge, becoming a familiar and respected face in the community.

Bobby truly enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He loved fishing, cooking and barbecuing for family and friends, and spending time out on his boat enjoying the water and good company.

Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandria Uccello, whom he shared many wonderful years with.

He is survived by his children Phillip Uccello (wife Tarra Uccello), Rhonda Pursley, and Michele Pursley; his grandchildren Courtney Robinson, Blayne Pursley, Blayke Pursley, Gage Uccello, Gatlin Uccello, and Gavin Uccello; and his great-grandchildren Jackson Lindner, Brayden Lindner, and Mariah Pursley. He also leaves behind his sister, Rhonda Nix, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service will be held at Lankford Funeral Home in DeLand, Florida, on March 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM, with doors opening at 1:00 PM. Following the service, family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of life at Airport Restaurant and Gin Mill to continue sharing stories and honoring Bobby’s life.
