Soo Ja Warrensford, passed away July 30th, 2025. She was born in Uijeonbu, South Korea, birth date July 20, 1958. Soo met and married Edward ("Billy") Warrensford while he was on his first tour in South Korea with the Army in 1975. They were married on December 17, 1979. She was a fierce believer in the Lord, and loved her family above all else.
Soo volunteered regularly with the school system through the FFA, Band and classroom help. She was always quick to jump in and help a family member or a friend that was in need, whether that was bringing a meal, helping to babysit or being a shoulder to cry on.
She loved her family and spent a lot of time cooking for and hosting them for all kinds of occasions. Soo loved to garden and spent a lot of her free time cultivating crops, her favorite things to grow were squashes and this year her crowning achievement was pumpkins. She loved to travel, and was ready to head out on a trip, whether it was for a day or a week. She also loved to fish, or be out on the water. She enjoyed playing cards or putting together puzzles with friends. Being with the people that she loved was where Soo enjoyed to be most.

When you met Soo, you became family instantly, she was there for people in such a beautiful way, caring for them in their successes and their lows. You could never leave her house without a big hug and an "I love you" from here. Soo was the first to volunteer for anything anyone needed, and instilled the values of family in each and everyone of her children. She loved fiercely and put the Lord and family above all else. She constantly wanted to be with those that she loved, and everyone was always welcome at her table. You could say that her love language was cooking, and boy was she good at it. When she moved to Florida from Korea she found such great joy in sharing her traditional Korean dishes with her family, and in turn learned how to cook so many of her new family's recipes so that she could express her love in so many different dishes and you could taste the love she put into every meal. Soo was a hard worker and someone who could always be relied on.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 & 4- "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance."
