On May 3, 2022, Beulah Schneider Chandler, 86, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side. Beulah was born in Falls Mills, Virginia to Thelma and Robert Schneider. She moved with her family to Glenwood, Florida, September 1946 where she joined the Glenwood Community Church in 1948.


Beulah graduated from DeLand High School in 1955 followed by a 15-year career with Florida Bank DeLand as a bookkeeper and teller. Beulah went to work for Martin E. Chandler Insurance, agent for New York Life Insurance Company, in 1970 as Office Manager where she worked alongside her sister, Libby, for 25 years and husband, Martin, until her passing.


In 1972 Beulah married the love of her life Martin Chandler. Beulah loved traveling with friends across the United States in their motor home, where she fell in love with Alaska. She loved her family, her cats, sewing, growing flowers, and watching the wildlife on their property in Glenwood.


Beulah is survived by her husband, Martin Chandler of 48 years; Sister, Elizabeth Lusk; Step Children, Kathy (Frank) Dougherty, Martin (Betsy) Chandler III, Cynthia Chandler, Mark Chandler; Step Grandchildren, Laura Domingus, Brian (Lilibeth) Panton, Jason (Ashley) Panton, Martin Chandler IV, Jennifer Finigan, Toni (Brandon) Chandler, Parker Chandler; Step Great Grandchildren, Sydney Domingus, Ethan Domingus, Aubrey Monahan, Jacob Finigan, Jillian Finigan, Saleen Panton, Sara Panton, Jackson Panton, Annabelle Chandler; Nieces and Nephews, Jefferson (Stacey) Borden, Children: Sara, Tommi Gene, Jacob and Lucas; Lorelei Graham (deceased), Daughter: Eryn (Robbie) Pardee; T. Elizabeth (John) Yoho, Children: Ashley Lascelles and Joseph Lascelles III; Brandi Littler, Children: Elizabeth Littler and Noble Hanke.


There will be a service for Mrs. Chandler on Saturday May 21st, 2022, at Glenwood Presbyterian Church . The Viewing will start at 10:00 AM followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Following the Funeral Service will be a burial at Glenwood Cemetery followed by a Reception/Luncheon at the Glenwood Presbyterian Fellowship Hall.
