David Van Perryman Sr.

David Van Perryman Sr. was born on October 31st, 1967, in Miami Florida. David passed away on December 2nd, 2022, in Orange City, Florida at the age of 55. David was the son of Owen and Patricia Perryman. He had two children, David Jr who passed away September 8th, 2021, and Tiffany Perryman. David had one granddaughter Kinslee Larsen “KZ”. David was survived by his mother and his four brothers O.J., Scott, Frank, and Mikey Perryman. David had a sense of adventure and loved to travel. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and shooting guns with his brothers on the “Perryman Compound”. He also loved watching Florida Gator football games with friends, grilling out steaks, mudding in his jeep “Barney”, and most of all he loved swimming and doing cannonballs with his “KZ”.
The Perryman family moved to DeLand, Florida when David was three years old. David grew up in DeLand, and later moved to Saluda North Carolina with David Jr. As most people would know, David never met a stranger. He was known for his big heart and being “the life of the party”. David resided in Saluda, North Carolina but traveled all over the United States for work at Dade Service Corporation. David was the project superintendent where he oversaw the installation of cold storage construction projects. He was known for his charismatic personality on the jobsite and was always quick to befriend clients and subcontractors.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday December 17th, 2022 at Lankford Funeral Home in DeLand, FL from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
