David Wayne Howard

David Wayne Howard, 61, left to be with our Heavenly Father on the 1st of January 2023 at his home in Deland, Florida. His funeral service will be held on January 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Lankford Funeral Home, with internment and military honors to follow later at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.
David was born on December 28th, 1961, to Diann and David Daniel Howard in West Liberty, Kentucky. David served in the US Army for 10 years as a tanker. David met his wife of 34 years in South Korea. Hannah Howard was a devoted, caring wife who took great care of David throughout the years and in his battle with cancer.
David thoroughly enjoyed traveling and riding his Harley with his wife. He was an avid golfer, spending many weekends with his father walking the greens.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Diann; brother Robert Howard; and son, Jason Howard. He is survived by his wife Hannah, father David Daniel Howard, and 2 daughters, Natasha Steiner and Stephanie Lindsay. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donation to be made to the Fisher House in Orlando, Florida, in David’s name, for the care and service they provide to veterans' families during treatment at the Orlando VA Hospital.
