Debbie Symonds, 60, of DeLand, Florida, passed away on Friday, October 1st, 2021. She is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, Tracy, her son, Brandon, her daughter, Ashton, her stepson, Dustin, and her grandson, Carter. She is also survived by her many brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews.
Debbie spent several years as a medical receptionist, always greeting her patients with the big smile that everyone knew and loved. In her retirement, she loved decorating, shopping (much to Tracy's dismay), throwing parties, and being surrounded by her family.
She was very creative (although she would never admit it) and she loved animals and babies. She gave generously to those around her and had a laugh that could be heard a block away. She was the life of the party and the glue that held the family together. October 2nd, 2021. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 10th, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Lankford Funeral Home, DeLand with Celebration of Life Services following at 2:00 p.m..
