Dorothy O’Brien passed away on June 3rd, 2022.
Born in Manhattan, New York on June 29th, 1926, to William and Margaret Palumbo. She worked as an operator for New York Telephone Company and married the love of her life, Martin O’Brien on June 7th, 1947. She was predeceased in death by her husband of 34 years and two sons, Martin and Thomas and brother William Palumbo. Dorothy moved to Orange City in June 1982 and enjoyed volunteering with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, Advent Health Hospice Thrift Shop, St. Peter Catholic School Lunch Program and Oktoberfest. She is survived by her two daughters, Ann Osowski (Alan), Maureen Fox, six grandchildren, Kristen Fetzer(Jason), Eric Berger, Michael Osowski, Sean Allen, Brittany and Jimmy Fox, along with four great grandchildren , Magnolia Allen, Bryce and Amelia Fetzer and Kenzo Berger.
Lankford Funeral Home is in charge.
