James ‘Graham’ Black, 72, of Apopka, Florida, passed away with his loved ones by his side on, September 1st, 2022.
He loved the Lord, his wife, and his family. Graham’s hobbies included surfing, fishing, listening to his favorite music, talking about his Oldsmobile 442 and reliving memories from his time in the Army. He also loved eating Sonny’s Barbecue and telling the same jokes over and over. Of his many accomplishments, Graham returned to school at age 65 and earned his Doctorate of Ministry in Biblical Theology – April 2015.
Graham was preceded in death by his parents, James Graham Black and Voncile Powell Black. He is survived by his wife, Amy Black, his brother, Ralph Black, his children, Heath Black, Marie Black (daughter-in-law), Shelby Wheaton, Seth Wheaton (son-in-law), Pamela Milanes and Julio Milanes (son-in-law), and his seven grandchildren, Gage, Isla, Ella, Romy, Lola, Harper and Mackie. Viewing will be held from 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 10, 2022 until service time at 12:00 P.M. at Lankford Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
