Jasmine Thomas Gonzalez "Sweetie" 48, died Monday, May 9th, 2022 at 4:45a.m. at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford, Florida after nine years of fighting strong with Systematic Lupus.

Sweetie was born on November 4, 1974, in St. Catherine, Jamaica to Gloria and Darel Thomas. Her passion for life was believing and praising the Lord, caring for her four children, and staying true to her many friendships. She worked as a retail cashier after migrating to America. She also volunteered at Home for Families, advocating for increasing funding for homeless families, and these families simply loved her.

From her family, Sweetie was the sweetest person you could ever hope to meet. She always tried to foster peace amongst everyone. Sweetie always thought about the greater good of life and the good in people. She was the most giving person ever, even if it was her last penny. She wouldn't think about it twice before using it especially if somebody else needed it. She was a ball of light that would express such love, passion, and care. She was a mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend, she will be dearly missed. Rest in Peace Sweetie.
