Joan M. Schoonmaker of DeLand, FL , born on Oct. 22, 1942, sadly passed away on April 12, 2023 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Schoonmaker and is survived by her significant other Leon Lasher; her children, Rhonda Bateman, Ronald O. (Janet) Brush, Roland Brush, and Rodney Brush. Eleven Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren. Also, her sister Rose who she was close with as well as several other siblings.

Visitation will be held on Monday April 17, 2023 at 10:00AM and her Funeral will follow at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Lankford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery, DeLand, FL.
