Marie Boucher 90 of DeLand FL died on the 28th day of April 2023 in the Orange City Care Center of chronic heart failure. Marie’s funeral Service will be held Tuesday May 16th at St Peter Catholic Church at 11:00am at 359 West New York Ave DeLand Fl followed by internment at DeLand Memorial Gardens 600E Beresford Ave DeLand FL 32724.
Mrs. Marie Boucher was born on the 14th day of September 1932 in ST. Martin Canada in the Province of Quebec to Napoleon and Zelea Quirion. She Married Roger Boucher on October 4th 1952. Together they raised 3 Sons and 2 daughters she also worked in Norwich, Connecticut for more than 20 years at King Seeley Thermos as a machine operator. After retiring she moved to Florida with her husband Roger Boucher. While living in DeLand she would often volunteer at St. Peter Church many times teaching others crafting. In her spare time, she enjoyed Basket Weaving. Often donating her beautiful work to raise money for charity. She also took great pleasure in gifting her beautiful baskets and other crafts to family and friends. And even when her fingers would no longer allow her to weave her baskets, she took up painting always striving to learn something new. We will also remember our mom for the many gatherings she hosted where friends and family would come together, we always had such a good time. In her later years she met and married her best friend Andy Boyer and then became Mom Marie to Barbra Linda Janice and Michael.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Roger Boucher, her son Dennis Boucher, her sister Yvette Lavern (Morris), her sister Therese Sevigny (John), her Brother Bertrand Quirion (Therese), her Second Husband Andy Boyer and her Stepdaughter Janice.
To those she is survived by her must now say goodbye to her brother Ben Quirion (Lorraine); her Sister Colombe Adam, her son Michael Boucher (Jayne) of Plainfield Connecticut their four children Josh Jed Justin and Kayla 11 great grandchildren; her son Paul Boucher and Edith Horton both of DeLand, his sons Paul and Ryan and 1 great grandchild; her daughter Darlene Girard (Andrew Girard Jr) of DeLand; her son Andrew Girard III and 5 great grandchildren; her Daughter Ann Lambertson (Russell) of DeLand their daughter Jeanie Cueto Lambertson 3 Great Grandchildren; 2 great greatgrandchildren; her step daughter Linda; her step Daughter Barbra; her step son Michael.
She will be missed till we see her once more keeping her close to our heart till we see her again we all love you very much.
