Pat Lando, 81, of Turtle Dove Trail, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021.

Mrs. Lando was a retired school bus driver with the North Syracuse School District, serving special needs children. She came to this area in 1998 from her native Syracuse, N.Y. During her career in Syracuse, she was also an adult physical education teacher in the evenings at Lyncourt Junior High School.

She was an avid golfer and very active with her family in all types of events and outdoor recreation. Her husband, Cosmo Lando, passed away in 2006. Her sister, Rosemary Bersani, passed away in 2020.

Survivors include a sister, Tillie Recchie, Deland; a brother, Frank Mazzye, Syracuse; a step-daughter, Marcia Adams; five nieces, Christina, Debbie, Marian, Stacey and Rosie; and four nephews, Richard, Christopher, Mark and Timmy. Private funeral arrangements by Lankford, DeLand, FL. Burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
