Robin was born in Deland, Florida in September of 1949 to Chuck and Betty Lennon of DeLeon Springs. He graduated from Florida State University in 1972 with a degree in business, followed by becoming a CPA. With his business degree in hand, he and Wanda started a fern business, Central Florida Foliage. They worked together in the fern business for over 30 years. In 2000, he began a second career in accounting with DRT in DeLand, FL as a CPA Financial Planner and Principal. In recent years, he and Wanda started a U-pick grape vineyard called Spring Garden Vineyards, where he was able to continue his love of agriculture.

Robin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many in the community. He enjoyed being with his dogs, hunting, fishing, golfing, traveling, antique bottle- hunting and collecting, playing the guitar, scuba diving, snorkeling, tinkering, inventing, and enjoying a nice cocktail while watching a western movie.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for Wednesday, June 23rd at First Baptist Church on Woodland Boulevard in DeLand, Florida. His surviving family will receive guests at 2:00 pm followed by the celebration at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family thinks Robin would appreciate donations to his lifelong passion:

Wanda, I’m so sorry for your loss. What a shock this must be for you and your family. I know nothing I can say can help but wanted you to know I’m thinking of you and know how very sorry I am. Robin and I had typing class together in HS and he was always so nice to me. 52 years or marriage speaks amazingly of the relationship you all had. Take care. Carolee

Wanda, Mitzi and I were very saddened to hear about Robin. Have many great memories of Robin as kids and always considered him a great friend. I’m so glad I had a chance to spend some time with him at Rick’s service. I’m sorry we were not able to be at Robins service, our thoughts and prays are with you and your family.

Gail and I are shocked and saddened at the news, Robin was so inspirational, so much fun and after 40 years of friendship we constantly reminisce of Robin and Wanda and the funny stories and experiences that we have enjoyed. We dropped an email to Robin just a month ago and he quickly responded and we were so looking forward to getting together again once the border opens up. We have so much to say, Wanda we are sending you lots of love and Canadian hugs to you and the family. So sorry, just love the two of you so much. Love from Gail and John and our family.

I am so sorry to hear of Robin’s passing. Prayers for this precious family in the days to come.
