Christian Pirone, 74, of Deland, FL, formerly of Paramus, NJ passed away peacefully on March 1, 2021. A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving active duty from 1963 until 1967. Chris worked as a sheet metal worker with SMWIA Local 25 Northern NJ, for 33 years, until his retirement in 2003. Former member of the Paramus Elks for 26 years and current member of Amvets Post 13 of Deland, FL.
Devoted and loving companion to Lisa Dupuis. Beloved father to his three daughters Tonya Pirone, Tina Altamura, and Nicole Welch. Inspirational father-in-law to Steven Steimle and Dave Altamura. Loving grandfather to Ashley, Alyssa, Joseph, Jacob, Christian, Nicholas, and Katelyn. Beloved brother of Celia Schneiter, Gregory Pirone, and Daniel Pirone. Son of the late Nicholas and Anna Pirone. Chris is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as friends he cherished since childhood and friends he met through his years.
As per Chris’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Donations to the ASPCA to honor the memory of Chris and his late dog Buddy are greatly appreciated.
