Danny Ray Hinds, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, peacefully passed away on April 15, 2024, at Advent Health Care in Deland, Florida. He was born on September 7, 1941, in Elwood, Indiana, to Raymond Gerald Hinds and Darly Marie Hinds.
Danny dedicated much of his life to his work as an electrician, contributing his skills and expertise to GM at the Fisher-Guide Plant in Anderson, Indiana. His dedication and hard work were evident in every project he undertook, earning him the respect of colleagues and peers.
Beyond his professional achievements, Danny had a passion for woodworking and all things electrical. He found joy and fulfillment in creating and fixing things, showcasing his talent and creativity in every endeavor.
Above all else, Danny cherished his faith and his family. He was a devoted husband of 63 years to his loving wife, Carma Irene Hinds. Together, they built a beautiful family and shared countless memories filled with love and laughter.
Danny is survived by his three children: Douglas Ray Hinds (Lina), Beverly Hinds Weinhardt (Bill), and Gregory Gerald Hinds (Denise). He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Shaun Ray, Jeremy Douglas, Daniel William, Carma Nichole, Kaley, and Kyle, as well as 7 great-grandchildren each of whom brought immense joy to his life.
Danny's legacy of love, hard work, and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
