Donald Mogk, age 84, passed away peacefully the evening of September 13th surrounded by family.
He was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Donald married his highschool sweetheart. They moved to Florida in 1979. Together they enjoyed traveling with their high school friends annually for over 20 years. He had a passion for painting birds and sharing them with friends and family. He had a gift for storytelling and could make you feel a part of a memory with how clearly he could express and remember the moments of his life. He was a beloved member of Trinity United Methodist Church of DeLand.
Donald is survived by his wife, Janice, their two daughters Margene, Marcia and husband Dan, grandchildren Trevor, Connor, Caitlyn, Courtney and husband Wade, great grandsons Wade Henry, Wyatt, and Walker.
