Howard T. Leach

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Howard T. Leach, on May 18, 2023, at the age of 92, in his home surrounded by family.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 41 years, Kathryn A. Leach (nee Inkley), and his parents Thomas and Eva Mae (nee Welshans) Leach, sister Irene Butcher (William) as well as daughter Cynthia and son Jonathan. He is survived by his daughters Sarah Leach (William Autry) and K. Amanda Misner (Matthew), granddaughter Anja Misner, sister-in-law Elizabeth Inkley, nephew Tim Butcher (Mary Eleanor) and nieces Vicki Krause (Elmer), Rebekah Zwick and Rachel Earl (nee Shalett). He will be deeply missed by his many great nieces and nephews.
Howard loved his family and the churches he served in ministry as a United Methodist pastor. He was greatly loved by all those whose lives he touched. A man of deep faith and broad knowledge, he spread joy generously and lived each day to the fullest. Family and friends will gather for a Graveside Service and Interment at 10am, Friday, May 26, 2023 at Oakdale Cemetery, 800 N. Clara Ave, Deland, FL, 32720. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at a future date in Deland, FL.
