Kenneth Louis Yelle, a distinguished veteran, accomplished professional, and beloved family man, peacefully passed away on February 11, 2024, in DeLand, Florida, at the age of 97. Born on November 14, 1926, in Saginaw, Michigan, Kenneth's journey was one of dedication, service, and unwavering love.

 

Kenneth served his country with honor and distinction, bravely navigating the frontlines of both World War II and the Korean War as a dedicated Corpsman. His commitment to duty and compassion for others defined his character and left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

 

Throughout his civilian career, Kenneth excelled as the Vice President of Operations at Commercial Credit Equipment Corp., where his leadership and expertise were instrumental in the company's success. His tireless work ethic and dedication to excellence were evident in every aspect of his professional life.

 

However, Kenneth's true legacy lies in the love and devotion he shared with his family. He is predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Velda Marie Yelle. He leaves behind his cherished daughter, Vanessa Hardy, and her husband, Danny, as well as his son, Paul Yelle, and his wife, Kim. Kenneth's presence will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Jacob, Jennifer and her husband Joshua, Kendall and his wife Tamera, and Matthew, as well as his great-grandchildren, Desiree, Angel, Kira, Colby, Alexander, Joslynn, and Brennan.

 

Kenneth Louis Yelle's memory will forever be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, strength, and unwavering support will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched. Though he may have left this world, his spirit will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, a testament to a life well-lived and a legacy of love that will endure for generations to come.
