Larry J. Stepp, 76, DeLand, died unexpectedly December 26, 2021, at Shore Point Memorial Hospital, Venice, Florida. He was born May 29, 1945, in Delbarton, West Virginia, the son of Zeph Aaron Stepp and Blanche Murphy Stepp.

Larry graduated from Logan High School, Logan, West Virginia, Class of 1963. Following graduation he attended Marshall University, and served in the National Guard and Reserves.

Larry began his career in the insurance business but realized his real passion was going to be in the car business. He worked many places but his home was at Adams Automotive in Annapolis, Maryland.

Larry was a staunch Republican and loved the game of golf. His true love was his nine year old dog named Charlie. Charlie was his constant companion and enjoyed being with him every day. Charlie even joined Larry when he visited his friends at The Elusive Grape in DeLand. Larry loved Frank Sinatra and, like Sinatra, lived his life “His Way”.

Larry is predeceased by his father, Zeph Aaron Stepp, his mother, Blanche Murphy Stepp, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Survivors are his sister, Kyra Stepp Noel, Minford, Ohio; his brother, Mike Stepp, Logan, West Virginia; his aunt, Bertha Stepp Fletcher, and his cousin, David Stepp, DeLand, Florida; special friends, Sharon Weiler-Conrad and John Wayne Conrad, Estero, Florida; and David and Trisha Faust, North Point, Florida; several nieces and many friends.

A gathering will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 3:00pm at The Elusive Grape. Please join us as we raise a glass to Larry.
