Margaret Jane Neely

With heavy hearts, her family announces that Margaret J. Cayton Neely, passed away on March 12, 2024, at her home in DeLeon Springs, FL. She was 88 years old.
Margaret was born on April 18, 1935, in Braxton County, Orlando, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents Grant and Hazel Cayton, and her husband Robert W. Neely Sr., who she was married to since 1952-they were high school sweethearts. She had two boys and they all moved to Florida in 1963. Margaret was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She loved shopping, raising horses and cows, camping, and at the end watching Gator Baseball Games. She spent most of her life raising her boys and farming with her husband on the beautiful Neely Farm where she passed peacefully on Tuesday morning. She was a member of Berlin Methodist Church. She is survived by her Sons: Jim (Laurie), Robert Jr. (Zelta); Sisters: Anita Cayton, Judy Steele, Kay Dancy; Grandkids: Peggy Loveless (Jason), Jeremy Neely (Lexie), Jimmy Neely (Pam), Jamie Neely (Christine); Great Grandkids: Bailey, Noah, Riley Cameron, Brandon, Cade, Hunter, Payton, Monica; Great Great Grandkids: Cade, Danny Wayne; and a special thanks to Kathy Bower, her caregiver at the end.
