Michael W. Knight, lovingly known as Wayne was a lifelong resident of DeLand FL he passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday October 6, 2023. Wayne was a proud business owner in the trucking industry. Wayne loved to garden, fish, bike ride and spend time with his family. Wayne is preceded in death by his wives Sandra Knight and Jeanne Knight. Wayne is survived by his son Michael W. Knight Jr. (Casey), daughters Lisa Gahring (Mike), and Kelley Palmer (George), eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Wayne was a loving father and grandfather who was always willing to lend a hand or teach you a new skill. A graveside service will be held at DeLand Memorial Gardens on Friday October 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Lankford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
